Welcome to Litherland High School

Welcome to Litherland High School's website. It is a pleasure and a privilege to introduce you to our school. This website gives you an insight of what the school is about; it celebrates our student's achievements and allows you to see some of the opportunities available to students. Litherland High School is a mixed 11-16 school where every student is valued and treated as an individual. Our core purpose is "Success for All" and we aim to create a positive climate for learning where expectations and standards are high and our students are supported to do their best and achieve their full potential.

The Heath Family (NW) Multi-Academy Trust

On Sunday 1st March 2015, Litherland High School officially changed its status to become an academy, part of The Heath Family (NW) Multi-Academy Trust.

School leaders fromacross the trust are working very closely to bring about rapid and sustained improvements throughout the school, involving students, teachers, parents and the local community in order to bring a bright future for all students at Litherland High School. This was underlined by the recent Ofsted report which stated ‘The partnership with the Heath Family Multi-Academy Trust has been highly beneficial.’ The report went on to say that the students feel safe in school and they make a key contribution to a well-ordered and harmonious school.  The HMI noted that the school continues its improvement journey at an ever increasing pace.

The Heath Family is centred on raising standards of achievement and aspirations for all students to the highest standard by developing and nurturing both primary and secondary academies. For more information click on the link in the About Us section above.
